　　名词性从句

　　(一)主语从句

　　在复合句中做主语，相当于名词，一般置于谓语之前，也可用it作形式主语，主语从句放后面。

　　That the earth moves around the sun is a truth.

　　a) 由wh-开头引导的主语从句

　　Which team will win the match is a matter of public concern.

　　Where she has gone is not known yet.

　　What he does is none of your business.

　　b) 连词that引导的主语从句

　　That he will come is uncertain.

　　That we cannot undertake the task is a fact.

　　c) It引导的形式主语: 当主语从句较长时，多放在句子后部，用 it 作形式主语。

　　(二)从句

　　在复合句中做表语，相当于名词，位于系动词之后。例如：

　　My idea is that we will go to the Great Wall on Sunday.

　　由that引导的表语从句

　　The truth is that I have never been there.

　　The fact is that we have lost the game.

　　由wh-开头引导的表语从句

　　That is why she was absent yesterday.

　　The house is where Lu Xun once lived.

　　【答案】D。句中whether引导主语从句，句首不可用if，what引导表语从句，在从句中作宾语，选D。
